If you are seeking are permission code for PSYC 10 (Introduction to Developmental Psychology), please read the following: I understand that psychology is a demanding major and that you need certain classes in order to graduate on a certain timeline. However, every psychology major is required to take PSYC 10 in order to advance to upper division classes. I do not feel that it is fair for me to judge some students’ situations as more important than others, so I will not give a permission code to any student to enroll in PSYC 10. You must have taken the pre-requisite classes and have any other holds cleared in order to register. If you meet these requirements and the class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. Please do not email me to request a permission code.

In terms of the waitlist, it is based on when you register and which section you register for. I highly recommend registering for any open section, although I cannot guarantee that you will be able to switch sections once the quarter begins. I cannot give updates on the status of the waitlist or estimate your chances of getting into the class.
